Jetour Auto Philippines is expanding its dealership network with three new locations in EDSA-Greenhills, Iloilo and Tarlac, strengthening the Chinese automotive brand’s reach across Metro Manila and key provincial markets.
The three dealerships have been awarded to Jan Andrew Po, president of Grand Canyon Multi Holdings Inc. The new operations will be managed through Britannica United Motors Inc. for EDSA-Greenhills and Grand Canyon Multi Holdings Inc. for Iloilo and Tarlac.
The expansion gives Jetour additional access to established automotive markets while adding dealer groups with experience in vehicle sales, after-sales service and regional operations.
EDSA-Greenhills will strengthen Jetour’s presence in Metro Manila, particularly in an established automotive and commercial corridor along EDSA. The location is expected to give the brand greater visibility and provide customers in the capital region with another point for vehicle sales and service.
The Iloilo dealership expands Jetour’s reach into Western Visayas, where Grand Canyon already has experience operating automotive businesses. Tarlac, meanwhile, provides the brand with a stronger foothold in Central Luzon and access to customers from neighboring provinces.
Jetour Auto Philippines Managing Director Miguelito Jose said the three dealership awards form part of the company’s broader strategy to make its vehicles and ownership services more accessible to Filipino customers.
The company said the partnership with Po and his group brings experience in dealership operations and knowledge of local markets, which Jetour expects to support its continuing network expansion.
The partnership also builds on Grand Canyon Multi Holdings’ long presence in the Philippine automotive industry. Established in 1996, the group has developed dealership operations across major cities and provincial markets and has worked with several automotive brands.
Britannica and Grand Canyon have also been expanding their automotive portfolios. Their operations include multiple brands, giving the groups experience in managing sales networks, customer service and after-sales support.
For Jetour, dealer expansion is becoming increasingly important as the company adds more vehicles to its Philippine lineup.
The brand has been expanding beyond conventional gasoline-powered vehicles, with models featuring electrified powertrains forming an increasingly visible part of its local strategy. Its Philippine range includes vehicles such as the T2, T1 and X70, while the G700 has added another option in the larger and more premium SUV segment.
A wider dealership network allows manufacturers to support that product expansion with more physical locations where customers can view vehicles, arrange test drives, purchase units and obtain maintenance and parts support.
That after-sales component is particularly important as automotive brands compete not only on vehicle pricing and features but also on the ownership experience.
The three new locations are therefore intended to provide more than additional sales outlets. Jetour said the network will help customers gain access to service, parts and other ownership support closer to where they live and travel.
The expansion also comes as competition among Chinese automotive brands in the Philippines continues to intensify.
Chinese manufacturers have been increasing their local presence through broader model ranges, electrified vehicles and expanding dealer networks. For newer brands, establishing a reliable network is particularly important because consumers often consider service availability and parts support when deciding whether to purchase a vehicle.
Jetour’s strategy of working with established dealer groups provides one way of addressing that challenge.
For Andrew Po’s group, meanwhile, the Jetour partnership adds another automotive brand to an expanding dealership portfolio and extends its presence into additional regional markets.
Iloilo and Tarlac are particularly significant because regional dealerships can serve customers outside major metropolitan centers, reducing the need for buyers to travel to Metro Manila for sales and after-sales services.
The EDSA-Greenhills location serves a different purpose by strengthening Jetour’s presence in one of the country’s busiest commercial and automotive corridors.
Together, the three dealerships give Jetour a broader geographic footprint and provide the company with additional platforms for introducing its growing vehicle lineup to Filipino consumers.
The expansion also reflects how automotive companies are increasingly treating dealerships as part of a wider mobility ecosystem rather than simply retail outlets. Sales, financing, maintenance, parts availability and customer support all contribute to how a brand builds a sustainable presence in a market.
Jetour has indicated that its objective is to combine a wider physical network with stronger customer support as it continues expanding in the Philippines.
The three dealership awards mark another stage in that strategy, bringing the brand into new markets while giving it additional capacity to support existing and future customers.
As Jetour continues adding models and expanding its dealer network, the next challenge will be turning geographic expansion into a consistent ownership experience across Metro Manila and the provinces.
