BIGBANG Takes Over London as 20th Anniversary World Tour Brings K-Pop Icons Back to the UK

BIGBANG has brought its 20th-anniversary celebration to London, returning to the British capital for its first solo concert there in nearly 14 years as the veteran K-pop group continues its massive world tour.

The trio of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung performed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sept. 26 as part of the group’s “XX: COSMOS” world tour, marking BIGBANG’s first London solo show since 2012.

The London concert became another major milestone in a tour celebrating two decades since BIGBANG’s debut in 2006. The group opened the show with “Fantastic Baby” before moving through several of its best-known songs, including “Haru Haru” and “Lies.”

The performance comes after BIGBANG’s homecoming concerts at Goyang Stadium in August, where roughly 40,000 fans attended across the three-night run. Those shows marked the group’s first Korean concerts since 2017 and launched the current world tour.

The anniversary tour represents a significant return to the international stage for BIGBANG. The group had previously announced a 31-show schedule spanning 18 cities across North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia, with stops including Oakland, Paris, London, Taipei, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo.

London was particularly significant because of the long gap since BIGBANG’s previous solo performance in the city. The group’s return demonstrates the continuing international reach of its music two decades after its debut, while the scale of the current tour places its anniversary celebration on some of the world’s largest stages.

BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary comes after years of changes surrounding the group. The current touring lineup consists of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung, while the group’s earlier career produced a catalog of songs that became closely associated with the growth of K-pop internationally.

The London stop also follows BIGBANG’s 2026 appearance at Coachella, which marked the group’s return to major live performance on a global stage.

With the anniversary tour continuing across multiple regions through 2027, BIGBANG’s London comeback is more than a return to a familiar city — it is another chapter in a two-decade K-pop story that has now reached a new generation of global audiences.

And with the world tour still underway, the biggest question may be what BIGBANG’s 20th-anniversary era will bring next.
