Razon’s Bloomberry Launches OnlyFun.PH to Challenge Online Gambling Rivals — But Its Livestreaming Gamble

MANILA, Philippines — Billionaire Enrique Razon Jr.’s Bloomberry Resorts Corp. is taking its online gambling ambitions to a new level, launching a livestreaming-powered platform that blends digital entertainment, social interaction and casino gaming in an increasingly competitive Philippine market.

The company behind Solaire Resort is introducing OnlyFun.PH, a regulated interactive entertainment platform designed to allow users to watch online personalities, engage with livestream hosts and access gaming features through a single digital service.

Launched on October 8, 2026, the platform represents Bloomberry’s latest attempt to differentiate itself from established online gambling operators, including competitors already attracting large audiences through mobile gaming.

But beyond the livestreaming innovation lies a more important business question: Can Bloomberry convert social media-style engagement into sustainable gaming revenue while navigating tighter regulatory scrutiny and concerns about gambling-related harm?

OnlyFun.PH: Where Livestreaming Meets Online Gaming

Unlike conventional online casino platforms that primarily focus on individual gameplay, OnlyFun.PH introduces a more interactive entertainment model.

The service integrates creator-hosted livestreams with real-time audience participation and regulated online gaming features.

Instead of simply opening an app to play casino games, users can watch digital personalities, communicate with hosts and participate in interactive activities within the same platform.

The initiative forms part of Bloomberry’s FUNaloMAX digital gaming portfolio, which the company has been expanding as it seeks opportunities beyond its traditional integrated-resort operations.

Kelvin Kuan, Bloomberry’s vice president and head of online gaming, said the launch responds to changing entertainment habits among Filipino consumers, particularly those increasingly drawn to mobile content and creator-driven experiences.

Bloomberry describes OnlyFun.PH as the country’s first regulated interactive entertainment platform to combine livestreaming, digital creators and online gaming. That first-of-its-kind positioning is a company claim rather than an independently established industry ranking

Bloomberry Wants a Bigger Share of the Digital Gaming Market

For Razon’s gaming empire, OnlyFun.PH is more than a product launch.

It represents another stage in Bloomberry’s efforts to build a stronger online gaming business alongside its land-based casino operations.

The company already operates the Solaire casino properties and has invested in expanding its online offerings through Solaire Online and FUNaloMAX.

In April 2026, Bloomberry revamped its earlier MegaFUNalo platform and introduced FUNaloMAX after addressing technical problems that affected the previous version.

Razon said at the time that the company intended to promote the improved platform aggressively and believed its digital gaming investment could potentially produce positive financial returns by 2027.

The October launch of OnlyFun.PH adds a social entertainment dimension to that strategy, potentially giving Bloomberry new opportunities to reach users through content creators and livestream programming.

Why the Timing Matters: Bloomberry Is Still Recovering From Losses

Bloomberry’s digital expansion comes amid financial pressures on its traditional gaming operations.

According to the company’s official second-quarter 2026 financial results, Bloomberry reported the following:

Q2 gross gaming revenue

₱16.4B

Up 15% year over year

Q2 net revenue

₱14.1B

Up 11% year over year

Q2 EBITDA

₱3.4B

Up 35% year over year

Q2 net loss

₱345M

Narrowed from ₱1.4B loss

Figures rounded from Bloomberry’s official unaudited second-quarter 2026 results

Despite improvements in gaming revenue and operating profitability, the company continued to report a net loss.

Bloomberry’s consolidated first-half 2026 net loss reached approximately ₱470.3 million, compared with net income of ₱1.9 billion in the same period of 2025.

The company has attributed continuing challenges partly to subdued VIP and premium mass-market gaming demand.

These results help explain the strategic importance of diversifying into digital gaming, although Bloomberry has not disclosed specific revenue or profit forecasts for OnlyFun.PH.

The Real Rival: DigiPlus and the Battle for Online Gaming Customers

Bloomberry’s expansion comes as competition intensifies against established digital gaming companies.

One of its biggest competitors is DigiPlus Interactive Corp., operator of BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone.

DigiPlus reported ₱84.2 billion in revenue and ₱12.6 billion in net income for 2025, demonstrating the scale of its existing digital gaming business.

For the second quarter of 2026, DigiPlus disclosed an average of 5.75 million monthly active users across its digital gaming platforms.

These figures highlight the challenge facing Bloomberry: building customer loyalty in a market where competitors already have substantial user bases, familiar brands and established digital infrastructure.

In July, Manila Bulletin reported that Abacus Securities expected intensifying competition from land-based casino operators and technology providers to put pressure on DigiPlus’s market share and advertising expenses.

Bloomberry’s OnlyFun.PH launch adds a different competitive angle by putting content creators and audience participation at the center of the gaming experience.

PAGCOR Oversight Could Become the Deciding Factor

The company’s expansion also enters a more heavily scrutinized regulatory environment.

OnlyFun.PH operates under the oversight of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR), with Bloomberry reporting that the service includes identity verification, data protection measures and player controls.

But combining gambling with livestream entertainment creates additional considerations, particularly around vulnerable audiences, influencer marketing and the risk of encouraging excessive gambling.

In February 2026, PAGCOR outlined stricter know-your-customer requirements, tighter advertising restrictions and additional responsible gaming safeguards.

The regulator has also strengthened public awareness initiatives, including promoting a national problem gambling helpline.

The challenge for Bloomberry will be ensuring that digital engagement does not undermine those protections.

A livestreaming format may attract viewers interested primarily in entertainment, making effective age verification, transparent promotional disclosures and responsible gaming controls particularly important.

Can Livestreaming Translate Into Profit?

Bloomberry has not disclosed the investment cost, expected user numbers or specific revenue projections for OnlyFun.PH.

Its strategy nevertheless suggests several potential commercial benefits.

Creator-led programming could differentiate the platform, encourage repeat visits and introduce Bloomberry’s digital gaming portfolio to new audiences.

But these opportunities remain unproven.

Building and maintaining livestreaming infrastructure, developing programming and establishing creator partnerships could also generate additional operating expenses.

The platform’s long-term business performance will depend on whether it can attract adult users, retain their interest, comply with regulations and generate sustainable returns.

What Happens Next?

Bloomberry plans to expand OnlyFun.PH through additional original livestream programs, interactive features and partnerships with digital personalities.

The launch reflects a wider convergence of entertainment, technology and online gaming, with casino operators increasingly exploring ways to keep users engaged beyond conventional gaming interfaces.

For Enrique Razon Jr., the new service offers a possible route toward strengthening Bloomberry’s digital operations while its land-based casino business works through softer demand in key customer segments.

However, the ultimate test will not simply be how many people watch its livestreams.

It will be whether Bloomberry can turn its new entertainment format into a financially viable, properly regulated business without compromising consumer protections.

Bloomberry has brought livestreaming into its online gaming strategy. Whether that innovation can win market share, deliver profits and withstand greater regulatory scrutiny remains the unanswered question.
