SINGAPORE — A 30-year-old man was found dead in the waters off Yishun Dam on Wednesday morning, Sept. 2, with Singapore authorities saying preliminary investigations do not indicate foul play.
The Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they received a call for assistance at around 7.20am along Yishun Avenue 1. SCDF rescuers subsequently used rescue equipment to retrieve a body from the water. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.

The incident unfolded near Yishun Dam during the morning.
According to SCDF, its rescuers responded after receiving the call and conducted the recovery operation in the water.
The police later confirmed that the deceased was a 30-year-old man.
