TAGUIG CITY — A 24-year-old law student died after being found at a condominium building in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, prompting police to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal fall.
The victim was identified by authorities as a 24-year-old male law student from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law.
Police said the incident happened on the morning of Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, when condominium personnel heard a loud impact and discovered the student’s lifeless body.

According to the initial police account reported by GMA News, the discovery was made at around 7:30 a.m.
A condominium security officer was on the building’s fourth floor and was opening the door to the barracks when the officer heard a loud thud.
A maintenance worker and the security officer then moved toward the source of the sound.
They found the student’s body and immediately alerted authorities.
Other residents reportedly also heard the impact from different floors of the building.
Police subsequently cordoned off the area so investigators could document and process the scene.
The Student Was Reportedly Staying On The 16th Floor
Police said the victim was residing on the 16th floor of the condominium.
His remains, however, were discovered at a lower level of the building.
The difference between the victim’s reported residence and the location where he was found is among the circumstances investigators are examining as they reconstruct what happened.
Authorities have not released a definitive account of how the student reached the area from which he fell.
