T.O.P and Nana Confirm They Are Dating After Meeting on Music Video Set

Former BIGBANG member T.O.P and South Korean actress-singer Nana have officially confirmed that they are in a romantic relationship, ending weeks of speculation surrounding the two stars.

The pair first met while filming T.O.P’s music video and gradually became closer before beginning a relationship around June 2026, according to statements from their respective agencies.

T.O.P’s agency, Top Spot Pictures, confirmed that the two initially connected during the music video production and developed a romantic relationship after getting to know each other better. Nana’s agency, Sublime, separately acknowledged that the pair formed a connection during the shoot and are currently dating.

Their first professional connection came in January, when Nana appeared in the music video for “Studio54,” one of the songs from T.O.P’s first full-length solo album, “Another Dimension.” The collaboration marked their first on-screen pairing and eventually developed into a personal relationship.

The two continued to stay in contact after the music video shoot. Nana also appeared in promotional content connected to T.O.P’s music in April, giving them another opportunity to work together before their relationship became romantic several months later.

News of their relationship emerged after reports said the pair had been spending time together in Seoul. Photos published by Korean media reportedly showed them meeting on several occasions, including around the neighborhood where Nana lives. T.O.P was also reportedly seen accompanying Nana before she left South Korea for Milan Fashion Week in September.

T.O.P, whose real name is Choi Seung-hyun, is 38 and debuted with BIGBANG in 2006. He established himself as both a rapper and actor, appearing in films and television projects during and after his years with the group. He officially left BIGBANG in 2023.

He later returned to the screen in Netflix’s “Squid Game” Season 2, which brought him back into the international spotlight following several years away from major entertainment activities. He also returned to music in 2026 with “Another Dimension,” his first full-length solo album.

Nana, whose real name is Im Jin-ah, is 35 and first gained recognition as a member of the South Korean girl group After School after debuting in 2009. She later developed a successful acting career, appearing in projects including “The Good Wife,” “Mask Girl” and the Netflix series “The Scandal.”

The relationship has attracted significant attention because both stars have established careers across music and acting, and their professional connection began with a music project before developing into a romance.

Unlike many celebrity dating reports that remain unconfirmed for weeks, both agencies moved quickly to acknowledge the relationship after reports emerged on October 2. Their statements confirmed that the relationship began around June, meaning the pair have been together for roughly five months.

The confirmation also gives context to their recent appearances together and the reports of them spending time with each other despite their demanding schedules.

For now, the two stars are continuing their respective entertainment careers while publicly acknowledging their relationship for the first time.
