Actress Angelica Hart has confirmed that she and Andrew Muhlach have ended their relationship, putting an end to speculation from fans who had noticed the pair becoming increasingly quiet about their romance.
Hart made the confirmation during the August 21, 2026 episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” where she appeared alongside actor Buboy Villar to promote the GMA series Taskforce Firewall. Asked directly about her relationship status with Andrew, the actress gave a straightforward answer: they are no longer together.
But while celebrity breakups are often followed by accusations, cryptic posts and third-party rumors, Hart said their separation was different.
According to the actress, there was no third party and no unresolved romantic “gray area” behind the breakup. Instead, she explained that although they got along in many aspects of their relationship, differences in their personalities eventually became clearer over time.
Hart also emphasized that the relationship had been a happy one.
She recalled that she and Andrew enjoyed their time together and were able to do many of the things they wanted as a couple. Despite deciding to go their separate ways, she said they talked things through and are now on good terms as friends.
From a Promising Romance to an Amicable Split
The breakup marks a significant turn from the couple’s public relationship just months earlier.
In October 2025, entertainment reports said Hart and Muhlach had already been together for about nine months. At the time, Hart revealed that Andrew had introduced her to members of the Muhlach family, including some of his siblings and relatives. She admitted she initially felt nervous about whether the family would accept her because of her earlier work in sexy films, but said she was warmly welcomed.
Hart also spoke positively about Andrew’s influence on her life. She previously said he understood her trust issues stemming from earlier relationships and credited him with helping strengthen her faith.
Those comments make the latest confirmation particularly notable: less than a year after Hart publicly described herself as happy and inspired by their relationship, the two have now chosen to continue separately.
Was Angelica Hart’s Past Work an Issue?
Hart also addressed another possible source of speculation—the sexy projects she previously made earlier in her career.
She said Andrew did not have a problem with that chapter of her career and pointed out that she had already moved away from sexy roles by the time they became a couple.
That is consistent with Hart’s previous public statements about changing direction professionally.
In an October 2025 interview reported by the Manila Bulletin, Hart said she had decided to stop accepting sexy roles and wanted to transition toward more mainstream and wholesome projects. She described her earlier work as a stepping stone toward a broader acting career.
Her career since then has increasingly moved into mainstream television and action-oriented projects. Hart and Muhlach previously worked together in Totoy Bato, where their characters Pierra and Jett were romantically linked on screen while the two were also dating in real life.
They later appeared together in the 2026 action film Pasakalye, alongside Marco Gumabao, Denise Esteban and Jeric Raval.

For now, the most accurate answer is also the simplest: Hart says their personalities eventually proved different enough for them to decide to separate.
She has not publicly revealed a dramatic incident, betrayal or specific confrontation that caused the breakup.
More importantly, her latest statement directly contradicts any unsupported theory involving infidelity. Hart explicitly said there was no third party involved.
Andrew Muhlach has not been quoted in the reports reviewed here giving a separate detailed public explanation of the breakup.
Until either Hart or Muhlach provides additional information, claims about cheating, family conflict or another person causing the separation should therefore be treated as speculation rather than fact.
For Hart, however, the message appears clear: the romance may be over, but she does not appear interested in turning the breakup into a public feud.
