At the center of it all are two words that have taken on a life of their own on social media: “clean money.”
But amid viral posts, unfollows, blind items and cryptic messages, one thing remains crucial: many of the connections being made online are interpretations—not confirmed accusations or admissions by the personalities involved.
Where Did the “Clean Money” Controversy Begin?
The phrase first gained traction after content creators Mimiyuuuh and Esnyr discussed their dreams and experiences as successful online personalities during a July 2026 conversation.
While talking about the idea of being a “nepo baby,” the discussion turned to wealth coming from businesses rather than politics, with the phrase “clean money” eventually entering the conversation. Mimiyuuuh later praised Anne Curtis, describing her in the context of the now-viral phrase.
Heart Evangelista was not named in the conversation.
