Philippine Coast Guard West Philippine Sea spokesperson Rear Adm. Jay Tarriela said the 76-meter Chinese vessel Haiyang Dizhi Shihao entered the Philippines’ EEZ around Aug. 10 and remained in the area for 25 days. About three weeks of that period were spent within the 12-nautical-mile territorial sea around Panatag Shoal, according to the PCG.
