MANILA, Philippines — Will Ashley is turning a major milestone in his music career into an even bigger celebration as fellow “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition” stars Mika Salamanca and Ralph De Leon join his upcoming “Liham” album launch as guest artists.
The much-anticipated event is scheduled for September 20, 2026, at the SM North EDSA Skydome in Quezon City, marking a major step for Ashley as he officially expands his career from acting into music.
Mika and Ralph are coming
Mika Salamanca was initially announced as a guest artist for Ashley’s album launch through StarPop’s social media channels. The Kapuso star and PBB Celebrity Collab Edition Big Winner is set to take the stage alongside Ashley during the September 20 celebration.
The lineup became even more exciting with the announcement of Ralph De Leon as another guest artist.
For longtime RaWi supporters, Ralph’s appearance carries an added layer of nostalgia. Ralph and Will were paired together during Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition and finished as the show’s Second Big Placer duo.
Ralph had already shown his support for Ashley’s musical debut when he promoted Will’s first single, “Paborito,” on social media.
“Paborito” subsequently reached No. 1 on the iTunes Philippines Top Songs Chart, adding momentum to Ashley’s transition into recording.
From PBB housemates to the ‘Liham’ stage
Ashley’s music journey comes after a breakout period that saw him gain a new generation of followers through PBB Celebrity Collab Edition and his subsequent acting projects.
The actor-singer released “Paborito” as the first preview of his upcoming album, Liham. The song was composed by Ashley together with OPM singer-songwriter Maki and StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos, who also produced the track.
The song centers on the excitement of falling for someone special and wanting to hold on to a relationship that feels genuine—fittingly setting the emotional tone for an album titled Liham, or “letter.”
Ashley has also previously described “Paborito” as especially meaningful because it is one of the first songs he wrote himself.
Fans already showed strong demand
Interest in Ashley’s album launch was evident even before the guest artists were announced.
When tickets went on sale in August, the SVIP section sold out in less than two hours. The SVIP package included a photo opportunity with Ashley.
Other announced ticket categories included:
- VIP 1 — ₱3,800, with Hi-Bye
- VIP 2 — ₱3,050
- Patron — ₱2,700
- General Admission — ₱1,850
The SVIP tier was priced at ₱4,850.
More than just a music milestone
The Liham launch comes at a particularly busy period for Ashley.
He is also set to headline the upcoming Kapuso series “Delivery Boi,” where he will work alongside Mika Salamanca. GMA previously reported that the two developed a comfortable working relationship after their time together inside the PBB house.
Their friendship has also fueled plenty of online attention, with fans frequently reacting to their photos, trips and performances together. However, the two have previously pushed back against speculation that their social-media posts constituted a “hard launch” of a romantic relationship.
Meanwhile, Ashley and Ralph’s reunion on the Liham stage gives RaWi fans another reason to tune in, particularly after Ralph publicly supported Ashley’s debut single.
The big question now
With Mika Salamanca and Ralph De Leon officially joining Will Ashley for his Liham album launch, anticipation is building over what the three former PBB stars will bring to the stage.
What performances—and possibly what surprises—await fans on September 20?
For Ashley, Liham isn’t simply an album launch. It represents the next chapter of an artist who is now attempting to turn the momentum from acting and reality television into a career in music.
One thing is clear: the “Liham” stage is getting a whole lot more interesting.
