Jaafar Jackson is making a name for himself both on screen and in fashion, with the actor recently turning 30 after starring as his uncle, Michael Jackson, in the blockbuster biopic Michael.
The Lionsgate-produced film surpassed US$1 billion at the global box office in July, becoming the highest-grossing music biopic to date. Jackson has also been drawing attention for his polished approach to menswear, including his appearance at Prada’s spring/summer 2027 menswear show in Milan on June 21.
For the Prada show, Jackson wore a bright green knit top over a light blue shirt, allowing the shirt cuffs to show through. He paired the layered look with tailored black trousers and sunglasses, creating a relaxed but refined silhouette.
The look can be recreated with a selection of luxury pieces. A Malo jumper, priced at HK$9,375 at Farfetch, provides the statement knitwear, while Brioni trousers offer the tailored foundation. Montblanc sunglasses add a finishing touch, complemented by Prada loafers and a Frame shirt.
The combination highlights a straightforward approach to contemporary menswear: strong colour on top, classic tailoring below and understated accessories. Rather than relying on elaborate styling, the outfit uses texture, proportion and carefully chosen luxury pieces to create a polished appearance.
Jackson’s Prada appearance reflects his growing visibility beyond the Michael biopic, as he continues to establish a personal style that combines classic tailoring with more relaxed, modern elements.
