MANILA, Philippines — Actress Glaiza de Castro is embracing a major new chapter in her life after revealing that she has completed the first trimester of her pregnancy, sharing her excitement and candid reflections as she prepares to become a first-time mother.
The Encantadia and 58th star surprised fans on September 12 by announcing her pregnancy through photos showing her growing baby bump. She is expecting her first child with Irish husband David Rainey.
“Entering another chapter,” de Castro wrote in her announcement, adding that she was relieved to have made it through the first trimester.
Her reaction was summed up in the phrase that quickly caught fans’ attention: “GRABE PALA.”
