MANILA — Far Eastern University, Inc. (FEU) will hold its 2026 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on October 17 through a hybrid format, allowing shareholders to participate either in person or remotely.
The annual meeting is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Room on the fourth floor of the Administration Building at FEU’s main campus along Nicanor Reyes Street in Sampaloc, Manila. Shareholders will also be given the option to attend virtually.
The hybrid arrangement continues FEU’s recent practice of combining physical and online participation. The university’s 2025 annual stockholders’ meeting was likewise conducted through simultaneous onsite and virtual environments, with shareholders participating through physical attendance, proxies and remote communication.
FEU’s investor-relations disclosures list the 2026 Annual Stockholders’ Meeting notice dated September 14, while its preliminary information statement was filed on September 15. These documents provide shareholders with information on the meeting and matters scheduled for consideration.
The meeting comes shortly after FEU’s board declared a regular cash dividend of ₱15 per share. The dividend, based on retained earnings, covers shareholders of record as of September 29 and is scheduled for payment on October 15, two days before the annual meeting. The total dividend amounts to about ₱360.84 million.
FEU has 24,055,763 outstanding common shares, according to its investor-relations disclosures. The company’s listed shares trade on the Philippine Stock Exchange under the ticker FEU.
The university’s latest corporate disclosures also provide investors with an opportunity to review the company’s financial performance and corporate developments ahead of the annual gathering. FEU reported fiscal 2026 revenue of about ₱5.96 billion and net income of approximately ₱1.92 billion, based on recent company financial information.
The October meeting is expected to cover the usual annual stockholders’ matters, including corporate reports, board-related matters and other items requiring shareholder action under the company’s governing documents and applicable regulations.
For investors, the hybrid format also provides greater flexibility in participating in corporate governance without requiring every shareholder to attend the Manila campus physically.
With the dividend payment scheduled just days before the meeting and FEU preparing to convene shareholders for its annual corporate proceedings, attention will now turn to the university’s next phase of growth and how management plans to balance shareholder returns with investment in its education business.
The bigger question is what new priorities, financial strategies and corporate decisions will emerge when FEU’s shareholders meet on October 17.
