Channing Tatum has denied speculation that he was secretly operating an anonymous Instagram account that appeared to leave critical comments about his former fiancée Zoë Kravitz and her fiancé Harry Styles.
The rumours spread online after users noticed an account called “Nonya Bidness”, or @bidness_nonya, commenting on posts involving Kravitz and Styles. The account reportedly had only one follower — Tatum’s verified Instagram account — prompting fans to speculate that the actor was behind it.
One comment reportedly appeared under a post featuring Kravitz and Styles and read, “Just here for the hate.” Other comments appeared to reference Tatum’s past relationship with Kravitz and make negative observations about her relationship with Styles.
The theory gained momentum because Tatum’s official account appeared to be the anonymous profile’s sole follower. However, there was no independent evidence establishing that Tatum controlled the account.
Tatum addressed the speculation directly on his Instagram Story on Sept. 21, dismissing the idea that he would spend his free time running a secret account.
He also questioned why he would publicly follow an account if he were actually trying to hide his identity.
Tatum then made his position clear, saying he has only one Instagram account, @channingtatum.
The anonymous account has since gone inactive, adding another twist to the online mystery. Reports also indicated that the profile may previously have been a Channing Tatum fan account before its username and activity changed, although that history does not establish who currently operated it.
Tatum and Kravitz began dating in 2021 after working together on the film Blink Twice. They became engaged in 2023 before ending their relationship in October 2024.
Kravitz later began dating Styles, with their relationship attracting renewed attention after public appearances and reports surrounding their engagement.
That history helped fuel the speculation surrounding the anonymous Instagram account, particularly because some of its comments appeared to target the couple.
For now, Tatum has publicly denied being behind the profile, while the actual identity of the person who operated @bidness_nonya remains unconfirmed. The episode has nevertheless become another viral celebrity social-media mystery — sparked by little more than one account, one follower and a series of suspicious comments.
