MANILA, Philippines — Newlywed actress Bea Alonzo is giving fans a glimpse of her romantic Italy getaway with husband Vincent Co, just weeks after the couple quietly exchanged vows in an intimate civil wedding.
Bea recently shared photos and videos from their trip, taking followers from the scenic Dolomites to Venice, where the couple appeared to be enjoying a private post-wedding escape.
In one of her Venice posts, Bea wrote, “First night in Venice and I’m already in love,” describing a sunset water-taxi ride, pasta and getting happily lost in the city’s narrow streets.
One video also showed Vincent admiring the views while they traveled by water taxi.
But while many fans have naturally assumed that the Italy trip is the couple’s honeymoon, that detail has not been officially confirmed.
PEP.ph reported that people close to Bea and Vincent have not confirmed whether the trip is indeed their honeymoon. The couple also appears to be keeping much of the vacation private, with Bea largely sharing destinations, food and scenery rather than extensively documenting Vincent.
From the Dolomites to Venice
Before posting about Venice, Bea shared breathtaking images from the Dolomites, including Cortina d’Ampezzo, Lago di Braies and Lagazuoi.
One of her posts showed two hands holding each other inside a car, prompting followers to assume that the hands belonged to Bea and Vincent. The intimate moment quickly drew attention from fans and fellow celebrities.
The Venice leg of the trip appeared equally romantic, with Bea documenting their water-taxi ride, meals and leisurely walks around the historic city.
She also shared her wish of eventually attending the Venice Film Festival, which was taking place during their visit.
A honeymoon that came later?
The timing of the Italy trip is particularly notable because Bea and Vincent had initially put their honeymoon on hold following their wedding.
The couple married in a private civil ceremony at Makati City Hall on July 13, 2026, with Makati Mayor Nancy Binay officiating. Their wedding was deliberately kept intimate, with only a small number of people present.
Bea later explained that keeping the wedding private was a conscious choice.
She said she wanted the occasion to be “about us and no one else,” emphasizing that the moment was something she and Vincent wanted to share privately.
Immediately after the wedding, however, work took priority.
PEP.ph previously reported that Bea returned to taping for her upcoming GMA series “Whispers From Heaven” just two days after the wedding. Manila Bulletin likewise reported that Vincent had work commitments, resulting in the couple putting their honeymoon plans on hold.
Now, their Italy getaway has seemingly given the newlyweds an opportunity to enjoy some private time together.
Bea and Vincent’s quiet new chapter
The Italy trip also reflects how Bea has approached her married life so far: with plenty of happiness, but relatively little public disclosure.
In August, Bea spoke publicly about adjusting to married life, saying that she and Vincent had already moved in together and that she was “very, very happy.” She described waking up beside her husband every day as something special to her.
Their relationship became public in 2025, while marriage rumors intensified in early 2026 after their marriage banns were published by a Manila parish.
Those rumors ultimately culminated in their quiet July civil wedding.
Now, with the couple exploring Italy together, fans are once again following every glimpse of their new chapter.
Whether Bea and Vincent officially call this their honeymoon or simply a much-needed romantic vacation, one thing is clear: the newlyweds appear to be enjoying their time together away from the spotlight.
