MANILA, Philippines — A cryptic social media post from Jamie Evangelista, the wife of actor Baron Geisler, has stirred fresh speculation online after she questioned whether it is normal or morally acceptable for a maid, household helper, or personal assistant to sleep in the same bed as a married employer.
In a post on Threads that has since been deleted, Jamie asked: “Is it normal for an alalay/maid/PA to sleep in the same bed as her married employer?” She followed it with another question: “Morally acceptable? Asking for a confused wife.”
Although the original post is no longer visible on her account, screenshots circulated online, prompting renewed discussion among netizens.
Jamie did not identify anyone
Importantly, Jamie did not name the alleged employer, the household worker, or any other person in the post.
She also did not explicitly state that the situation happened in her own marriage with Baron.
As a result, claims circulating online about the identities of the people allegedly involved remain unverified speculation. KAMI likewise noted that there was no direct statement from Jamie identifying a specific incident or person.
The question nevertheless caught attention because it came only weeks after Jamie made another series of cryptic social media posts that were widely interpreted by followers as possibly concerning her husband.
Not the first cryptic post involving Baron
In July, Jamie drew attention after commenting on an Instagram post featuring Baron undergoing a facial treatment.
She urged him to find a “drug rehabilitation sponsor” to address what she described as the root of his problems, adding that she doubted a facial could resolve them. The comment was later deleted, but screenshots circulated online.
The remarks led to speculation about Baron’s well-documented past struggles with alcohol and substance abuse. However, reports stressed that there was no confirmation that the actor had relapsed.
Jamie also posted other messages that appeared to discuss accountability, change, and family issues, although she did not always identify the person being referenced. Manila Bulletin reported that Baron had not publicly addressed those posts at the time.
Baron has previously spoken about his recovery
Baron has been open over the years about his struggles with addiction and his efforts to rebuild his life.
In previous interviews and reports, the actor discussed seeking rehabilitation and working toward recovery. His wife has also previously spoken publicly about the challenges surrounding his alcohol use.
In 2022, for example, Jamie explained a viral confrontation involving the couple and said she was hoping Baron could overcome his alcohol addiction. Philstar reported at the time that she had sought professional help for him and emphasized that he also needed to help himself.
More recently, Baron has spoken about personal change, faith and the role of prayer in his life. SunStar reported in May 2026 that he credited his deep faith and prayers for helping him change.
Their relationship has previously made headlines
The couple’s relationship has also been the subject of public discussion in previous years.
In 2022, Jamie made another social media post involving a female actress after alleging that the woman had arranged transportation for Baron to go drinking at her home. Jamie subsequently deleted the post and asked people not to bash the woman, explaining that she considered her a friend and knew about Baron’s drinking problem. The actress was never conclusively identified by Jamie as having an inappropriate relationship with her husband.
Those earlier incidents provide context for why Jamie’s latest cryptic question has attracted significant attention.
Still, the latest post stands on its own: there is currently no publicly confirmed evidence establishing who or what specific situation Jamie was referring to.
Baron remains silent on latest post
As of the latest reports, Baron has not publicly responded to Jamie’s deleted Threads post.
The lack of a direct explanation has left social media users debating what prompted the question, but the available reporting does not establish that an affair or other specific incident actually occurred.
For now, the most verifiable fact is that Jamie posted—and later deleted—a question about whether a married employer sharing a bed with a maid, household helper or personal assistant is morally acceptable.
Until either Jamie or Baron provides additional context, any claims identifying the people allegedly involved remain speculation.
