Porsche Cayenne Owners Gather in Bangkok as New Electric Model Makes Thailand Debut

BANGKOK — More than 560 people and over 140 Porsche Cayenne vehicles gathered in Bangkok for what was described as Southeast Asia’s largest meeting of Cayenne owners, as Porsche Thailand also unveiled the Cayenne Coupé Electric in the country for the first time.

The gathering took place on Sept 5 at Das Haus BKK as part of the Haus of Porsche: Cayenne Edition event, bringing together Cayenne owners and enthusiasts from across Thailand.

The event attracted more than 564 participants and featured Cayenne models from multiple generations, highlighting the SUV’s evolution over more than two decades.

More than 140 Cayennes on display

The gathering brought together Porsche Cayennes spanning different generations, offering visitors a look at how the model has developed since its introduction.

The Cayenne has become one of Porsche’s most important vehicle lines, combining the company’s sports car heritage with the practicality and versatility of an SUV.

The event also featured a display tracing the Cayenne’s development alongside the Porsche 911, highlighting the design and performance influences shared across the brand’s different models.

Cayenne Coupé Electric unveiled in Thailand

One of the event’s main highlights was the first presentation of the Cayenne Coupé Electric in Thailand.

The unveiling marked another step in Porsche’s move toward electrification as the company expands its range of electric vehicles.

The new model was presented during the Cayenne gathering, giving attendees an early look at the electric version of Porsche’s popular SUV.

Event opens to the public

Following the main gathering, Haus of Porsche: Cayenne Edition opened to the public from Sept 6 to 9.

Visitors were offered a range of activities, including specially arranged test drives and lifestyle events.

Test-drive experiences included the Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupé and Cayenne Electric, allowing visitors to experience different versions of the SUV.

The event also included trade-in consultations and displays of selected Porsche Approved Pre-Owned vehicles.

Beyond cars and driving

The programme was designed to bring together different interests within the Porsche community.

Activities included cycling, discussions on pet care and travelling with animals, financial and investment talks, and a morning Pilates session.

The wider programme reflected Porsche’s effort to build the event around lifestyle and community activities rather than focusing only on the vehicles themselves.

A growing Cayenne community

The large turnout highlighted the growing Cayenne owner community in Thailand.

With more than 140 vehicles and over 560 participants attending, the event became one of the biggest gatherings of Cayenne owners in the region.

For Porsche Thailand, the event also provided an opportunity to showcase the evolution of the Cayenne while introducing visitors to the brand’s growing range of electrified SUVs.
