Police arrested a suspected high-value drug individual in Toledo City, Cebu, after allegedly finding him in possession of shabu worth around P88,196.
The suspect, identified by police as alias “Jeff,” 45, and a construction worker, was arrested at about 10:28 a.m. on September 16, 2026, in Barangay Poog, Toledo City.
Authorities recovered eight sachets containing suspected shabu from the suspect. The seized substance had a combined weight of 12.97 grams and an estimated value of P88,196.
Jeff was taken into custody at the Toledo City Police Station. Police said he will face charges for alleged violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The arrest was part of the authorities’ continuing operations against suspected illegal drug activities in Toledo City. The allegations against the suspect have yet to be tested in court.
