51-Year-Old Passenger Falls From Moving Tricycle in Hinoba-an—What Happened Next Was Fatal

BACOLOD CITY — A 51-year-old man died after falling from a moving tricycle in Purok 1, Barangay Asia, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental, in an incident that has prompted authorities to look into the circumstances surrounding the fatal fall.

The incident happened on August 17, 2026, while the man, identified in local reports by the alias “Richard,” was traveling with another passenger. Panay News reported that he fell from the tricycle while the vehicle was traveling along the area.

Reports from other local news sources also placed the incident in Purok 1, Barangay Asia and identified the victim as a 51-year-old man. One local report said the victim was married and from San Carlos City.

Another local report identified the victim as “Richard” and reported that the group had been traveling south from Hinoba-an proper when the incident occurred.
