SINGAPORE — Paris Baguette is taking its health-focused bakery concept to a much bigger audience in Singapore after expanding its PARAN LABEL range from a pilot location to all 28 of its stores across the city-state.
The Korean bakery brand first introduced PARAN LABEL overseas at its Paragon outlet in February 2026. After testing the concept locally, the company has now expanded the range across its entire Singapore network.
Seven PARAN LABEL products are currently available in Singapore, including five types of bread and two sandwiches. The range emphasizes lower sugar, higher dietary fiber and protein, with selected products containing probiotics.
Sales Surge After Singapore Rollout
The expansion has already produced a noticeable sales response.
Average 30-day sales in the sliced-bread category increased by 57% compared with the May-to-July average recorded before PARAN LABEL was expanded across the chain. The sandwich and salad categories also posted approximately 10% growth.
Among the leading sellers are the Smoked Salmon Ricotta Sandwich, Roasted Chicken Ricotta Sandwich and Multigrain Rye Bread.
The results suggest that Paris Baguette’s strategy of combining nutritional features with familiar bakery flavors is finding an audience among Singapore consumers looking for more balanced everyday meal options.
What Makes PARAN LABEL Different?
PARAN LABEL was launched in South Korea in February 2025 as a health-oriented bakery line.
The concept focuses on nutritional adjustments while maintaining the texture and taste expected from bakery products. Paris Baguette’s Singapore range includes breads made with whole grains, rye, oats, seeds and multigrain blends, while selected products feature probiotics.
The company has also developed sandwich options using the PARAN LABEL breads, including roasted chicken and smoked salmon varieties.
Halal Certification Opens a Wider Market
Another factor supporting the Singapore rollout is Paris Baguette’s halal certification.
The company obtained MUIS halal certification for all 28 Singapore stores this year. The certification applies to products handled and prepared at the outlets, helping the brand serve a broader customer base, including Muslim consumers.
That gives PARAN LABEL an additional advantage in Singapore’s diverse food market, where dietary preferences and halal requirements can strongly influence purchasing decisions.
Korean Bakery Meets K-Culture
Paris Baguette is also leaning into the popularity of Korean culture across Southeast Asia.
Rather than replacing its Korean identity for the Singapore market, the company continues to use the name “PARAN LABEL,” connecting the product line with the wider appeal of Korean food and culture.
The company has said it plans to use the Singapore experience as a foundation for expanding PARAN LABEL into other international markets, including countries where Paris Baguette already operates such as the United States.
PARAN LABEL has already surpassed 34 million units in cumulative sales in South Korea, according to the company, giving Paris Baguette a substantial domestic track record before its overseas expansion.
For Paris Baguette, Singapore is therefore becoming more than just another overseas market. It is emerging as a test of whether Korea’s growing K-bakery trend can translate into demand for health-focused bakery products abroad.
And with sales climbing after the rollout to all 28 Singapore stores, Paris Baguette now has a bigger question to answer: can PARAN LABEL turn its Singapore success into a global healthy-bakery expansion?
