Best Credit Card Promotions in Singapore for October 2026

Singapore banks are rolling out a fresh selection of credit card promotions in October 2026, with new applicants able to receive cash rewards, luggage, airline miles and other gifts after meeting minimum spending requirements.

The latest promotions cover major issuers including Citibank, CIMB, UOB, HSBC, American Express, DBS and OCBC. Many of the offers are tied to spending within a specified period after approval, so applicants need to check the qualifying requirements and expiry dates carefully.

Citibank is offering several cards with a choice between S$400 in cash through PayNow or 6,140 SmartPoints. Eligible cards include the Citi Cash Back+ Mastercard, Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Rewards Card, Citi Cash Back Card, Citibank SMRT Card and Citi M1 Credit Card. Applicants generally need to spend at least S$500 within 30 days, with the promotion listed as ending on Oct. 3.

CIMB has a longer-running promotion on selected cards. New CIMB World Mastercard applicants can receive a Samsonite Black Label Fanthom Spinner 69/25-inch expandable TSA luggage, valued at S$1,150, after spending S$2,000 within 60 days of card approval. The promotion is scheduled to run until Nov. 30.

UOB is also offering several sign-up incentives. Eligible cards including the UOB One Card, UOB EVOL Credit Card, UOB PRVI Miles Card, UOB Lady’s Card, KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card, UOB Visa Signature Card and Singtel-UOB Card come with a S$60 cash reward when applicants spend S$500 within the first 30 days. The promotion is listed as valid until Oct. 9.

The UOB Absolute Cashback Card has an additional stackable promotion. Applicants can receive S$60 cash after spending S$500 in the first 30 days, while a separate offer provides a Samsonite EVOA Z Spinner 25-inch expandable suitcase, valued at S$600, after spending S$1,000 per month for two consecutive months.

For shoppers who regularly use Lazada, the Lazada-UOB Card is offering Apple AirPods 4 for applicants who spend at least S$100 per month on Lazada for three consecutive months. The promotion runs until Oct. 31. The card also provides rebates on selected Lazada, RedMart, dining, entertainment and transport spending.

HSBC has several promotions running in October. The HSBC Advance Credit Card, HSBC Live+ Card, HSBC Revolution Credit Card and HSBC TravelOne Card are included in a campaign offering either S$430 cash through PayNow or 6,140 SmartPoints, subject to qualifying spending and other conditions. The offer is listed as valid until Oct. 3.

The HSBC cards also differ considerably in how they reward spending. The HSBC Advance provides cashback on local and overseas purchases, while the Live+ focuses on dining, shopping and entertainment. The Revolution Card offers points on online spending, and the TravelOne Card earns miles on both local and foreign-currency transactions.

American Express is offering longer-dated promotions on several cards. The American Express Platinum Credit Card offers 40,000 Membership Rewards points after S$4,000 in spending and payment of the annual fee within three months of approval.

The American Express Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Ascend Credit Card offers up to 45,000 KrisFlyer miles after S$8,000 in spending and payment of the annual fee within six months. The standard American Express Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Credit Card offers up to 16,000 KrisFlyer miles with a minimum S$2,000 spend within three months. These promotions are listed as running until Jan. 31, 2027.

DBS is focusing several of its October offers on Samsonite luggage or cashback. New DBS Chromo Card applicants can choose between a Samsonite MINTER 80/30 Trunk luggage piece, valued at S$680, or S$288 cashback after spending S$500 within 60 days.

The same S$680 Samsonite luggage or S$288 cashback option is available for the DBS yuu Visa Card, DBS yuu American Express Card and POSB Everyday Card, although these cards require S$800 in spending within 60 days. The DBS Altitude Visa Signature and American Express cards also offer the luggage option or up to 38,000 miles with the same S$800 spending requirement. These offers are listed until Oct. 31.

OCBC is offering S$200 cash or 3,000 SmartPoints on several cards, including the OCBC INFINITY Cashback Card, OCBC Rewards Credit Card, OCBC 365 Credit Card and 90°N cards. The qualifying requirement for the listed offers includes at least S$400 in eligible transactions within 30 days, with the promotions running until Oct. 31.

The OCBC cards target different spending patterns. The OCBC Rewards Card provides enhanced rewards for selected shopping categories, while the 90°N cards focus more heavily on travel and miles. The INFINITY Cashback Card offers cashback rather than an airline-miles structure.

Some promotions have particularly short deadlines. MoneySmart’s current promotion listings show selected Citibank and HSBC offers running from Oct. 4 through Oct. 9, meaning applicants considering these campaigns need to check the exact application and approval conditions rather than relying only on the advertised reward.

The value of a credit card promotion ultimately depends on whether the required spending fits into a person’s normal budget. A large welcome gift can be less useful if meeting the minimum spend requires unnecessary purchases or if the card carries fees or conditions that outweigh the initial reward.

Applicants should also check eligibility requirements, annual fees, spending categories, reward caps, application deadlines and the full terms and conditions before applying. Promotions can change quickly, and some offers require additional steps such as marketing consent or payment of an annual fee.

With banks competing for new cardholders, October offers a wide range of incentives, from cash and shopping rewards to luggage and airline miles. The key difference between the promotions is not simply the headline value of the gift, but the spending requirement, deadline and ongoing benefits attached to each card.
