Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas has made it clear that she is no longer letting her former husband Gerald Sibayan’s new marriage affect her, saying she had already expected him to eventually marry again.
Sibayan reportedly tied the knot with his non-showbiz partner in San Francisco, California, months after his divorce from Ai-Ai was finalized. Reports about the wedding surfaced this week, prompting renewed public interest in the former couple’s highly publicized split.
Speaking about the development, Ai-Ai told “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” that Gerald’s remarriage was something she had anticipated.
“Alam naman natin na mangyayari ’yan. Expected ko ’yan nung hiniwalayan niya ako,”
Ai-Ai also suggested that Gerald’s marriage in the United States was connected to his desire to remain there.
She added that she only hopes he will not repeat with his new partner what she says happened during their own relationship.
Ai-Ai says she has already moved forward
Despite the renewed attention surrounding Gerald’s wedding, Ai-Ai emphasized that she is doing fine and does not want her supporters to be affected by the news.
The actress-comedienne thanked fans for their continued messages of love and support, while assuring them that she has already moved forward.
“Okay na okay po ako,” she said, adding that people should not allow Gerald’s remarriage to affect them because she herself is no longer affected by it.
Her latest comments come months after she officially closed the chapter on her marriage to Gerald.

Ai-Ai and Gerald were married in 2017 after being together for several years. Their relationship eventually ended, with Ai-Ai publicly confirming their separation in late 2024.
In March 2026, the divorce became official after a Superior Court of California, County of San Joaquin approved the divorce petition filed by Ai-Ai. She described the development as “Freedom!” and said she was happy to be single again.
Ai-Ai also described the divorce as a “reboot” of her life, signaling her intention to move forward and begin another chapter.
Gerald’s new marriage puts the spotlight back on their past
Reports of Gerald’s remarriage have inevitably brought renewed attention to the circumstances surrounding his separation from Ai-Ai.
According to GMA News and PEP.ph, Gerald reportedly married a non-showbiz partner in San Francisco. PEP.ph identified the woman as Vivian, while GMA’s report, citing Ogie Diaz’s Showbiz Update, identified her as Nadine. Because of this discrepancy between reports, the new wife’s name should be treated cautiously unless independently confirmed by the couple.
What appears consistent across the reports is that Gerald has started a new life in the United States and has remarried.
For Ai-Ai, however, the message is straightforward: she has already moved on.
