MANILA, Philippines — ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES) has extended its winning run at the prestigious Stevie International Business Awards to four consecutive years, taking home Gold, Silver and Bronze in the 2026 edition.
The Ayala Group’s retail electricity arm secured the three awards for campaigns centered on data-driven marketing, omnichannel customer engagement and business-to-business brand experience—highlighting how renewable energy companies are increasingly competing not only on power solutions, but also on how they reach and convert customers.
The biggest recognition went to ACEN RES and research partner Synergy Market Research and Consultancy, which won a Gold Stevie in the Marketing Campaign of the Year – Best Use of Data to Drive Brand Strategy category.
The winning entry, according to the Stevie Awards, was based on research-driven insights used to shape ACEN RES’ brand strategy and strengthen its position as a renewable energy solutions provider in the Philippines.
The campaign was built around the government’s Green Energy Option Program (GEOP), which allows qualified electricity consumers to choose renewable energy suppliers.
From data to market share
The awards come with a notable business-performance story.
The Stevie Awards’ official listing for ACEN RES says its online-to-onsite-to-online, or O2O2O, strategy helped the company reach a 56% market share while increasing revenue by 33% to $183 million.
That performance earned ACEN RES a Silver Stevie for Omni-Channel Marketing Strategy of the Year.
The strategy connected digital and physical customer touchpoints, allowing online engagement to lead to onsite interactions and then return to digital channels.
Judges praised the approach for linking multiple customer touchpoints and for demonstrating measurable audience participation and cross-channel integration.
ACEN RES also took home a Bronze Stevie for Brand Experience of the Year – Business-to-Business for its O2O2O campaign and business-focused gala event.
Another Philippine energy publication, Power Philippines, reported that the campaign’s combination of market research, storytelling, digital engagement and physical events was central to the three-award haul.
Four straight years on the Stevie winners list
The latest recognition builds on ACEN RES’ previous Stevie victories.
ACEN RES won a Gold Stevie in 2023 for New Product or Service Introduction of the Year and another Gold in 2024 for Brand Experience of the Year. In 2025, it secured its third consecutive Gold, winning Omni-Channel Marketing Strategy of the Year.
That makes the 2026 haul particularly significant: rather than merely repeating a single category win, ACEN RES collected all three medal levels—Gold, Silver and Bronze—in the same awards cycle.
The 2026 International Business Awards attracted more than 3,400 nominations from organizations in 78 countries, according to reports on this year’s ACEN RES recognition.
Why the win matters for renewable energy
Beyond the trophies, the recognition reflects the growing importance of customer acquisition and market positioning in the Philippines’ evolving retail electricity sector.
GEOP gives qualified contestable customers an avenue to source electricity from renewable energy suppliers, creating a competitive environment among electricity retailers.
For ACEN RES, the latest Stevie recognition therefore comes at the intersection of renewable energy, retail electricity, data-driven marketing and corporate sustainability.
Miguel de Jesus, ACEN’s COO for Philippine Operations, said customers remain the motivation behind the company’s work and that the recognition was encouraging for the team. Synergy Market Research and Consultancy President and CEO Germaine Reyes likewise emphasized the importance of turning research data into actionable business strategy.
ACEN RES is the retail electricity unit of ACEN Corporation, the Ayala Group’s listed energy platform. ACEN says it has around 7 GW of attributable renewable energy capacity across operating, under-construction and committed projects, with the Philippines as its core market.
With its fourth consecutive year of Stevie recognition now secured, ACEN RES is positioning the latest sweep as more than an awards milestone—it is a validation of a strategy that combines data, digital platforms, physical customer engagement and renewable energy solutions.
And the most striking figure may not be the three trophies on the shelf: it is the 56% market share and $183 million in revenue cited in the winning Stevie entry.
