SINGAPORE — Local actor Brian Ng and his wife, Natasha Cheng, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl.
Brian announced the arrival of their daughter in an Instagram post on Sept 9, sharing several photos and reflecting on his first days as a new father.
The actor said it had been about a week since his life changed, describing the experience as a mixture of joy, worry, anxiety and wonder.
Despite the challenges of adjusting to parenthood, Brian said his heart had never felt fuller.
A new chapter for the couple
Brian and Natasha are now a family of three after welcoming their first child.
The actor shared photos of the newborn, including one showing the baby dressed in grey and another focusing on her tiny feet.
Brian also joked about his daughter’s future, saying the feet that had kept her mother busy during pregnancy might one day score a goal in the Women’s Champions League for Manchester United.
He welcomed his daughter to the family with a message signed by her sleep-deprived father and her mother, whom he praised for bringing the baby into their lives.

Pregnancy announced in April
Brian first revealed that he and Natasha were expecting their first child in April.
At the time, he shared that the couple had learned about the pregnancy in December 2025.
He admitted that the first trimester brought plenty of worries, particularly about the health and well-being of both his wife and their unborn baby.
However, he said his excitement about becoming a father outweighed those concerns as the couple prepared for the next chapter of their lives.
From child actor to new father
Brian began his entertainment career as a child actor, appearing in Kids Central programmes including We Are R.E.M. and Heartlanders.
He later appeared in Channel 8 dramas such as Perfectly Imperfect in 2025 and Last But Not Least in 2026.
His international microdrama project, Romance by the Sea, which also stars Filipino actress Samantha Panlilio, began streaming in May.
Brian currently appears in the 65-episode drama Yes Captain! as Assistant Superintendent of Police Ong Jia Heng.
