A bedridden elderly woman in Thailand was carried for about nine kilometres through heavy rain so she could visit a bank and complete an essential transaction.
The woman was unable to walk and needed assistance to leave her home. Her family reportedly decided that carrying her was the only practical way to get her to the bank in person.
The journey took place despite difficult weather conditions, with relatives helping transport her over the long distance.
