Forteza, meanwhile, portrays Patricia dela Cruz, a struggling actress and breadwinner who is forced to confront painful parts of her past.
Their lives collide when Patricia discovers a life-changing truth: she is Diana’s long-lost daughter.
But instead of a simple reunion, the revelation opens old wounds and creates a conflict involving family, business, power and long-buried secrets.

He also praised her performance, particularly during the show’s heavier scenes.
Cuneta herself has also spoken warmly about her relationship with Forteza and Ramos, saying she had grown particularly fond of the younger actors.

“Honor Thy Mother” is not limited to Philippine audiences.
The series premiered globally on Prime Video on September 11, 2026, and is available in the Philippines and more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, according to promotional and media reports.
The series consists of 14 episodes, giving the story a relatively compact format compared with many traditional Philippine teleseryes.
