SINGAPORE — K-beauty fans in Singapore will no longer have to wait for their favourite Korean skincare trends to make their way across the region.
Starting Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, Sephora Singapore will launch the Olive Young K-Beauty Edit, bringing a curated selection of Korean beauty brands and products to local shoppers as part of a major global partnership between Sephora and South Korea’s Olive Young.
The Singapore rollout follows the partnership’s first activation in the United States in August and marks one of its earliest launches in Southeast Asia. Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand are among the first markets in the region to receive the Olive Young-curated assortment. Together, the three markets will offer more than 20 Korean beauty brands and over 180 products, according to CNA.
Why the Sephora–Olive Young partnership matters
For many K-beauty shoppers, Olive Young is more than a conventional beauty retailer. The South Korean health and beauty giant has become an important discovery platform for emerging Korean skincare, makeup and wellness brands.
The company’s strength lies in identifying products and brands gaining momentum among Korean consumers before they become global beauty trends.
That expertise is now being combined with Sephora’s international retail network.
Olive Young said the partnership is designed to introduce a dedicated K-beauty zone curated by its merchandising team across Sephora’s online and physical stores, initially targeting markets in North America and Asia before expanding further internationally.
Korea JoongAng Daily previously reported that the partnership would roll out across markets including the United States, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, followed by planned expansion into the UK, Australia, the Middle East and other markets.
Which Korean beauty brands are coming to Singapore?
The Singapore edit will feature a selection of Korean beauty names, including BIOHEAL BOH, Torriden, beplain, Ongredients, make p, Cell Fusion C, REJURAN and Dr. Althea, among others.
Sephora’s Singapore assortment also lists products from brands such as Celimax, ma, HEVEBLUE and haruharu wonder, with categories ranging from cleansers and toner pads to serums, moisturisers and sun protection.
The broader global assortment announced for the U.S. launch includes 19 Olive Young-curated brands, among them Abib, Arencia, BANILA CO, FATION, FULLY, HEVEBLUE, MENOKIN, S.NATURE, SUNGBOON EDITOR, THOME, Torriden, WELLAGE and WHIPPED. The exact assortment can vary by market and store.
More than another K-beauty shelf
The Singapore launch is also being positioned as an experiential beauty destination.
Sephora Ion Orchard will become one of three regional K-Beauty Discovery Launchpads, alongside Sephora locations at Fahrenheit 88 in Kuala Lumpur and Siam Center in Bangkok.
The limited-time launch spaces are expected to feature trend-focused product edits, hero routines, beauty education, sampling and interactive experiences.
In other words, shoppers won’t simply be presented with a collection of viral Korean skincare products. The concept is intended to help consumers understand the trends, routines and products behind the Korean beauty phenomenon.
And yes, there are launch freebies
There is another reason K-beauty shoppers may want to check out the launch early.
According to CNA, customers who spend S$65 on the Sephora x Olive Young K-Beauty Edit can receive an exclusive insulated tote bag, while a S$40 purchase at the Ion Orchard launchpad comes with a Tyvek pouch, subject to availability.
Sephora Singapore has also created a dedicated Olive Young K-Beauty Edit online, featuring products organised around concerns and routines including slow ageing, barrier support, pores and blemishes, and hydration.
A bigger moment for K-beauty
The launch comes as Korean beauty continues to move beyond its traditional niche and into the global mainstream.
Allure’s coverage of the U.S. launch highlighted how the Sephora–Olive Young collaboration gives shoppers access to both established and emerging Korean beauty names, including brands that have built popularity in Korea but may have been less familiar to international consumers.
For Olive Young, the partnership also represents a major step in its international expansion strategy. The company says it has more than 1,380 stores in South Korea, alongside its growing international presence, and has positioned itself as a platform for discovering and scaling Korean beauty brands globally.
For Singapore shoppers, however, the appeal may be much simpler: some of the Korean beauty products they have been seeing on social media, beauty forums and overseas shopping lists are about to become considerably easier to discover and purchase locally.
And that could make Sept. 2 the date many K-beauty fans have been waiting for.
