SINGAPORE — Heavy rain swept across parts of Singapore on Thursday morning, September 10, prompting flash flood alerts in parts of Jurong West as authorities warned motorists and residents to remain cautious.
The National Environment Agency said in a weather update issued at 7.55am that heavy rain was expected over many areas of Singapore until around 9.30am.
Meanwhile, Singapore’s national water agency PUB issued flash flood risk alerts for two locations in Jurong West: Jalan Boon Lay, from International Road to Enterprise Road, and the junction of Pesawat Drive and Jurong Port Road.

The alerts came as rain clouds moved across western Singapore on Thursday morning.
