Casino Plus has formally turned over P122.41 million to a player who hit what the gaming platform describes as the biggest verified slot-machine jackpot in Philippine gaming history.
The winner, publicly identified only as “Dragon King,” received the jackpot during a ceremonial turnover at LaVie Resort and Casino in Manila on September 9. The player chose to keep his identity private and attended the event with his face covered.
Casino Plus said the exact payout was P122,409,603. The company described it as the largest verified online slot-machine jackpot recorded in the Philippines. The win was also reported by other Philippine media outlets following the September 9 ceremony.
The unusually large payout triggered additional verification procedures. Casino Plus Chief Executive Officer Evan Spytma said the platform’s system automatically flags a major jackpot, after which the player account and winning game round are checked. The company also said the game supplier and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) were involved in the validation process.
According to the company, the checks include confirming the legitimacy of the account, reviewing the relevant betting history and verifying that the winning round was valid. These measures are intended to ensure that a major payout is properly documented before the funds are released.
Casino Plus has also highlighted financial safeguards for large payouts. The company said it uses reserve backing and surety mechanisms, including a P1-billion surety bond program, to support verified player balances and jackpot payments.
The record payout comes amid a broader increase in large jackpot prizes on regulated digital gaming platforms. Casino Plus said it processed more than P1 billion in validated jackpot payouts during the second quarter of 2026, reflecting the growing scale of online gaming activity.
“Dragon King” said the win felt like a dream and indicated that part of the money would be used to help others and support family members. The winner also urged other players to set limits and recognize that gambling outcomes depend on chance.
The record jackpot also puts greater attention on player protection, responsible gaming and regulatory oversight as online gaming continues to expand in the Philippines. PAGCOR-licensed operators remain subject to regulatory requirements covering gaming operations, player protection and payout procedures.
