Byeon Woo-seok Is Coming Back to Manila—But His Latest Message Has Filipino Fans Losing It

Filipino fans of Byeon Woo-seok have another date to mark on their calendars.

The South Korean actor is officially returning to the Philippines for his “2026 Byeon Woo-seok Asia Fanmeeting Tour <The Secret Library>,” with the Manila leg scheduled for October 10, 2026, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The Manila stop is part of his wider Asian tour, which also includes Singapore, Taipei, Jakarta and Hong Kong.

And this time, Woo-seok himself is making sure Filipino fans know just how excited he is to see them again.

In a video message shared on August 1, the actor greeted his Filipino fans, whom he affectionately calls “Tongtongs,” and invited them to join him in Manila.

“Did you miss me a lot? I really missed your passionate cheers and love ever since our first fan meeting in Manila,” Woo-seok said, according to GMA Entertainment.

He then confirmed the highly anticipated date and admitted that he was already excited—and nervous—to reunite with Filipino fans.

“Since you have waited so long, I think this will be a truly perfect time for us,” he added before ending his message with a sweet “Mahal ko kayo. See you!”

From ‘Lovely Runner’ heartthrob to Manila favorite

Woo-seok’s return comes after his successful Manila fan meeting in July 2025, when he met Filipino fans during his “DAYDREAMIN’” fan meet at the Araneta Coliseum.

His popularity in the Philippines has only continued to grow following his breakout performance as Ryu Sun-jae in the 2024 hit K-drama “Lovely Runner,” where he starred opposite Kim Hye-yoon.

The series helped turn Woo-seok into a major Hallyu star, with his performance as the charismatic singer Sun-jae earning him a huge international following.

He most recently appeared as Grand Prince I-an in the K-drama “Perfect Crown,” further strengthening his status as one of Korea’s sought-after leading actors.

How much are the Manila fan-meet tickets?

For fans already planning their October 10 Woo-seok experience, ticket prices have been announced.

According to PULP Live World and GMA News, prices range from ₱4,000 to ₱13,000:

  • SVIP 1 — ₱13,000
  • SVIP 2 — ₱12,000
  • VIP A — ₱11,000
  • VIP B — ₱10,000
  • Box Premium — ₱7,000
  • Box Regular — ₱4,000

All ticket tiers are seated and come with fan benefits. SVIP 1 and SVIP 2 ticket holders are also entitled to access to the Hi-Bye event, while every ticket holder receives a photocard and souvenir show card.

Fans could also have a chance to take home special memorabilia, with group photo opportunities, signed posters and signed Polaroids among the benefits being raffled.

The ticket race is already heating up

The Woo Che Tong 1st Membership (Global) presale was scheduled for August 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through SM Tickets, followed by the general ticket sale on August 16 at 12 p.m. through SM Tickets outlets nationwide and online.

The event is presented by PULP Live World.

The announcement was first reported in June by ABS-CBN, which confirmed that Woo-seok would return to the Philippines for the October fan meeting. GMA subsequently reported the detailed ticket information in July before publishing Woo-seok’s latest invitation to Filipino fans in August.

Manila is one of several stops on “The Secret Library”

The Manila event is not a standalone appearance. It is part of Woo-seok’s 2026 “The Secret Library” Asia Fanmeeting Tour, which officially lists stops in Seoul, Bangkok, Yokohama, Singapore, Taipei, Manila, Jakarta and Hong Kong.

According to the official Weverse announcement, the Manila leg is set for October 10, with the show taking place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

For Filipino Tongtongs, however, the biggest draw may not simply be another chance to see the actor in person.

It is the promise of another night of personal interactions, fan benefits and the kind of emotional connection that made his previous Manila visit such a memorable one.

And if Woo-seok’s latest message is any indication, he may be just as eager to see his Filipino fans as they are to see him.

October 10 is officially the date. The question now is: how many Tongtongs will get to hear “Mahal ko kayo” from Woo-seok in person?
