Another Bite with Tatler Dining: 12 Exclusive Dishes to Try Across Four SM Malls

Food lovers have one month to discover a collection of dishes they will not find on the usual menus, as Tatler Dining brings its latest dining campaign to four of Metro Manila’s biggest lifestyle destinations.

From September 14 to October 14, 12 restaurants across The Podium, SM Aura, S Maison and SM Mall of Asia are serving exclusive creations developed specially for Another Bite with Tatler Dining.

The month-long campaign brings together restaurants spanning Japanese, Peruvian, Filipino, Chinese, Thai, European and modern Asian flavours, giving diners a chance to experience familiar establishments in an entirely different way.

The Podium

Four restaurants at The Podium are participating in the campaign.

Bistro Aurora offers Lasooni prawns, featuring grilled tiger prawns marinated in spiced yoghurt and served with bokchoy-wrapped coconut rice, daikon and cucumber salad and coco-marisco sauce for PHP 850.

For dessert, its MSR costs PHP 395 and combines smooth rice cream, mango sauce and mango compote in a coconut-shaped presentation.

Nikkei brings its Peruvian-Japanese identity to the campaign with two dishes. The PHP 695 arroz con pollo pairs chicken karaage with aji uchucuta, Peruvian-style curry rice and salsa criolla, while the PHP 895 kai meshi combines creamy Peruvian rice with prawns, clams, mussels and squid.

Lusso takes a more indulgent direction with its PHP 590 Luxe four-cheese sandwich, made with Asiago, cheddar, fontina and Gruyère.

Its PHP 850 dark chocolate mousse offers a richer finish with whipped panna and dark chocolate shavings.

Lazy Suzy completes The Podium lineup with dishes that put creative spins on comfort food, including a brown butter paitan ramen made with caramelised chicken broth, grilled chicken, brown butter tare, black truffle mushroom and burnt nori.

The restaurant also offers fragrant mala steamed fish, featuring the catch of the day in a sweet, lightly spiced mala sauce with leek and ginger floss.

SM Aura

At SM Aura, four restaurants are creating their own limited-edition dishes.

Burger & Lobster gives classic Filipino flavours a luxury twist with Manila’s Inasal Crunch, a beef patty layered with melted cheddar and mozzarella, atsuete garlic mayo, inasal glaze, atsara slaw and crispy chicken skin.

Priced at PHP 745, it is joined by the PHP 695 Tapsi Roll, which wraps beef tapa and atsara in the restaurant’s brioche roll.

For the ultimate Filipino-inspired indulgence, the PHP 1,700 lobster silog combines wild lobster with garlic rice and a perfectly cooked egg.

Chatterbox Café presents seafood hor fun for PHP 888, featuring flat rice noodles in an umami seafood broth with prawns, scallops, fish and vegetables.

Its PHP 680 braised pork belly bun comes with tender pork belly, steamed buns and crisp lettuce, allowing diners to assemble their own bao.

Inari Sukiyaki focuses on premium Japanese flavours. Its PHP 685 Black Angus steak box pairs USDA sirloin with sukiyaki tare reduction, koshihikari rice, an onsen egg and fresh wasabi.

The more extravagant A5 Wagyu, uni and ikura steak box is priced at PHP 1,995.

Kodawari adds Japanese comfort food to the lineup with a gyutan skewer featuring a spiced pear and citrus soy glaze with horseradish cream, alongside pork and shrimp gyoza with a crispy skirt.

S Maison

S Maison brings together three participating restaurants.

Bijin Nabe by Tsukada Nojo Philippines offers a PHP 690 bijin chazuke set combining collagen chazuke, karaage, tsukemono and a vegetable side dish.

Its PHP 990 black seafood Bijinmen and grilled tsukune set combines collagen soup with squid ink, tamago, calamari, seasoned vegetables and grilled tsukune.

Locavore takes Filipino flavours in a new direction with green curry Bicol express udon, priced at PHP 550. The dish combines house-made green curry Bicol Express broth, udon, braised beef and bok choy.

Its PHP 680 sinuglaw features fresh aged tanigue marinated in coconut and suka leche de tigre.

TungLok Seafood rounds out the S Maison selection with a creamy butter crab made with cream, butter and salted egg sauce.

It also offers a prawn symphony trio featuring roselle tomato, golden salted egg with sesame dressing and asparagus, and creamy wasabi mayo with grapefruit.

SM Mall of Asia

At SM Mall of Asia, Celadon brings Thai-inspired creations to the campaign.

Its soft-shell crab khao soi combines Northern Thai curry noodles with crispy soft-shell crab.

Another option is grilled beef tenderloin served with Thai yellow curry, crispy potatoes and shallots.

Together, the 12 participating restaurants offer a broad showcase of how chefs can reinterpret familiar flavours when given the freedom to create something specifically for a limited-time collaboration.

A month-long reason to eat differently

The appeal of Another Bite with Tatler Dining is not simply the number of restaurants involved, but the limited window in which these dishes are available.

The campaign runs for just one month, from September 14 to October 14, giving diners a chance to try creations that are not part of the restaurants’ regular menus.

For regular customers, it is an opportunity to see familiar restaurants from a new perspective. For adventurous diners, it offers an easy way to explore different cuisines and discover potential new favourites across four major SM destinations.

With 12 restaurants and a wide range of dishes spanning premium seafood, Japanese specialities, Filipino comfort food, Peruvian flavours, Thai cuisine and indulgent desserts, Another Bite with Tatler Dining turns a month of dining out into a culinary treasure hunt across Metro Manila.
