Thailand Privilege Card Co (TPC), the operator of Thailand’s long-term residency and lifestyle programme for foreign nationals, is considering expanding some of its services to Thai citizens.
The state-owned company is exploring ways to broaden its business beyond its traditional focus on overseas members while continuing to develop its position as a provider of premium lifestyle and travel services.
TPC currently operates Thailand Privilege, a long-term residency programme that provides foreign members with a range of benefits and services in Thailand.
The company has been expanding its service offerings in recent years, including partnerships covering hotels, airport transfers, golf and other lifestyle services.
Its global network now provides members with access to a wide range of accommodation and travel-related services, allowing the company to position itself as more than simply a long-term visa programme.
The proposed expansion to Thai nationals could allow TPC to make greater use of its existing partnerships and service network while reaching a broader domestic customer base.
The company is also looking to strengthen its revenue streams as competition in the premium travel and lifestyle market increases.
TPC’s core business remains focused on attracting affluent foreign residents and long-stay visitors to Thailand. Its services are intended to provide members with greater convenience and access to premium experiences during their time in the country.
The company has been working with international partners to expand benefits available to members, including accommodation, airport transfers and access to golf courses in Thailand and overseas.
Any expansion of services to Thai citizens would represent a broader direction for the company as it seeks to develop its business beyond its established foreign-member base.
TPC is operated under the supervision of the Tourism Authority of Thailand and remains an important part of the country’s efforts to attract high-spending international visitors and long-term residents.
The company is expected to assess the potential demand and commercial viability of services for Thai customers before deciding how such an expansion could be implemented.
