SINGAPORE — ASUS Republic of Gamers is celebrating its 20th anniversary in characteristically extravagant fashion: with an 800-watt GeForce RTX 5090, a 3,000-watt power supply, multiple OLED screens, a keyboard with 24K-gold-plated detailing and an anniversary PC package costing more than S$20,000.
The limited-edition ROG Edition 20 collection commemorates two decades since Republic of Gamers emerged in 2006. Rather than releasing a single anniversary product, ASUS has extended the theme across graphics cards, motherboards, cooling, power supplies, displays, compact PCs, keyboards, mice, networking hardware and even gaming furniture.
For Singapore buyers who want the centerpiece of the collection, the price is equally extreme.
The ROG Edition 20 Ultimate Bundle starts at S$20,899, putting it firmly into luxury-gaming territory. HardwareZone and other Singapore technology publications independently reported the same local pricing announced by ASUS.
But the price may not even be the most outrageous number attached to the collection.
An RTX 5090 that can draw up to 800 watts
At the heart of the anniversary hardware is the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Edition 20.
ASUS says the card can draw up to 800W when its dual-power configuration is used with a compatible BTF motherboard and conventional 12V-2×6 power connection. Cooling comes from a four-fan system, liquid-metal thermal compound and a vapor chamber.
The GPU also gets one of Edition 20’s most visible upgrades: a curved AMOLED screen capable of displaying animations, custom content and real-time hardware information. Behind it, ASUS has added a transparent glass backplate intended to expose more of the card’s internal engineering.
It is essentially a graphics card designed to function as both high-end hardware and a display piece.
And ASUS paired it with a power supply that makes even the 800W figure look modest.
A 3,000W PSU designed for as many as four RTX 5090 GPUs
The ROG Thor 3000W Titanium III Edition 20 offers a maximum output of 3,000 watts when used with 220-240V input.
ASUS says it has been engineered to support configurations containing up to four GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards, putting it well outside what an ordinary gaming PC would require.
The unit uses GaN MOSFET technology, an intelligent voltage-stabilisation system and ASUS’ ROG Equalizer power cable, while a detachable OLED display provides real-time power and efficiency readings.
The company claims its GaN implementation can deliver up to 30 per cent greater power efficiency compared with conventional MOSFETs, while allowing a more organised internal layout intended to improve thermal performance.
That combination reinforces what Edition 20 appears to be about: not practicality for mainstream gamers, but enthusiast hardware built to make a statement.
The anniversary motherboard gets two 6.67-inch AMOLED displays
Even the motherboard has screens.
The ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 supports AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000-series desktop processors and uses a 24+2+2-stage power design.
Its storage configuration can stretch to nine M.2 SSDs when ASUS’ expansion hardware is included.
But visually, its headline feature is a pair of 6.67-inch swivelling AMOLED displays that can present system information and synchronized graphics. It is paired with the specially designed ROG Ryujin 360 Edition 20 cooling system.
AsiaOne’s report highlighted the screens as another example of the collection’s deliberately over-the-top philosophy.
Yes, there is real 24K-gold-plated detailing
The word “gold” isn’t limited to the Edition 20 color scheme.
The ROG Azoth Extreme Edition 20 is a 75-per-cent wireless mechanical keyboard with a machined aluminium-alloy chassis, carbon-fibre positioning plate, adjustable gasket mount and full-colour OLED touchscreen.
Its anniversary makeover includes translucent keycaps and a 24K-gold-plated commemorative nameplate.
The keyboard supports an 8,000Hz report rate with ASUS’ Polling Rate Booster, while the company advertises up to 1,600 hours of battery life under particular 2.4GHz wireless operating conditions.
The matching ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 mouse continues the gold treatment. It features gold-plated accents, an AimPoint Pro optical sensor rated at up to 65,000dpi, optical switches rated for 100 million clicks and wireless polling at up to 8,000Hz.
So while Edition 20 is not literally constructed from solid gold, some of its premium visual elements do use genuine gold plating.
The monitor can hit 720Hz — with a catch
Competitive gamers get another eye-catching specification from the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-G Edition 20.
The 26.5-inch Tandem WOLED display runs at 2560×1440 resolution and up to 540Hz, with ASUS advertising a 0.02ms response time.
Its dual-mode feature can push that refresh rate even further, reaching 720Hz when the resolution is reduced to HD.
The monitor also supports DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 bandwidth and HDMI 2.1 and uses ASUS OLED Care Pro with a proximity sensor designed to reduce the potential risk of OLED burn-in when the user steps away.
ASUS says the Tandem WOLED technology delivers greater peak brightness, color volume and panel longevity than its previous-generation WOLED panels, although those percentage improvements are manufacturer claims rather than independent test results.
ROG also squeezed an RTX 5090-class laptop GPU into a 3-litre PC
For gamers who prefer something dramatically smaller, the anniversary lineup includes the ROG NUC 16 Edition 20.
Despite its roughly three-litre chassis, the machine can be configured with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU and an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor.
Cooling is handled by a triple-fan system and unified vapor-chamber architecture. ASUS says the design provides 21 per cent more CPU heat dissipation than the previous generation.
That compact system forms the center of a second Singapore package.
The ROG Edition 20 Gaming Bundle costs S$11,999 and combines the NUC 16 Edition 20 with the anniversary Swift OLED monitor, Azoth Extreme keyboard and Harpe II Extreme mouse.

Singapore pricing starts at S$20,899. HardwareZone reported that these core bundle products are being sold together rather than individually in the market.
Several less expensive anniversary products are available separately or have standalone Singapore pricing.
The ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro Edition 20 router is priced at S$1,199, the Destrier Edition 20 gaming chair at S$1,299 and the Edition 20 Keycap Mystery Box at S$49.
There is also a surprisingly nostalgic motherboard
Amid the futuristic screens and huge power figures sits one product deliberately looking backward.
The new ROG Crosshair 2006 draws its styling from the original Crosshair motherboard associated with ROG’s beginnings two decades ago.
But ASUS did not recreate a 2006 motherboard specification-for-specification.
The modern interpretation includes contemporary hardware and even a 2-inch OLED screen positioned around the primary M.2 area for displaying information such as CPU clocks, temperatures and fan speeds, as well as custom graphics.
It serves as a reminder of how dramatically PC gaming hardware has changed since ROG entered the market.
ASUS says Republic of Gamers began in 2006, with the original Crosshair becoming its pioneering product. Twenty years later, ROG’s portfolio extends far beyond motherboards into laptops, desktops, handheld gaming systems, monitors, peripherals, networking products and lifestyle gear.
Edition 20 is really about turning gaming hardware into collectibles
The most interesting thing about Edition 20 may therefore not be any individual specification.
It’s the way ASUS is increasingly treating enthusiast PC hardware as something closer to luxury collectibles.
The company describes the anniversary design as a combination of ROG Black, ROG Red, translucent “Crystal Lens” styling and “Radiant Gold.” ASUS says the black represents the foundation of the brand, red connects the collection with its original identity, transparency represents future technology, and gold marks its anniversary achievements.
Independent coverage from UnGeek and Gadget Pilipinas at Computex 2026 similarly described the range as spanning components, systems and peripherals around a common black-and-gold anniversary aesthetic.
That helps explain why some of the specifications seem almost intentionally excessive.
A 3,000W PSU, 800W graphics card, multiple AMOLED displays and 24K-gold-plated details are unlikely to become necessities for ordinary PC gamers.
They don’t need to.
For ROG’s 20th birthday, the company appears to be selling something different: a gaming setup designed not merely to run games, but to announce itself the moment someone walks into the room.
And at S$20,899 before the rest of the room is furnished, that announcement doesn’t come cheaply.
